Our Story
January 30th, 2010 - Betsy drove from Chicago to Milwaukee to visit her good friend, Caroline, who had recently got engaged. Later that evening, Caroline's fiancé, Roy, and a handful of their friends went to a bar called The Garage, so Betsy and Caroline met them for a quick drink.
Charlie was living in Milwaukee at the time and was out that night as well. He evenutally ended up at The Garage to meet Roy, who is one of his good college buddies.
We somehow found ourselves engaged in conversation without being introduced but it fell short as the two groups of friends quickly parted ways. We didn't expect to see each other until Caroline & Roy's wedding that November.
May 28th, 2011 - Betsy drove back up to Milwaukee for a BBQ at Caroline & Roy's house. Charlie arrived later that night. We started talking right away and this time our conversation didn't fall short as we spent the rest of the night getting to know each other.

After that night we spent many hours in the car visiting each other, and many nights staying up late on the phone. It wasn't too long after that Charlie started to look for jobs in Chicago, and on April 1st, 2011 he made the big move to the windy city.
March 15th, 2014 - We got engaged!
